Indonesia is a gorgeous country that I hope to visit one day, especially after reading a post from The Blonde Abroad. Kiersten posted on her blog about some of her adventures in Indonesia that seem out of this world. Some of the most beautiful adventures she mentions include making your way to the Sendang Gile Waterfall and then hiking on the Tiu Kelep Waterfall where you can take a swim. The Kelimutu Volcanic Crater Lakes are a guaranteed special experience because the lakes are emerald, red, chocolate and aqua colored due to a chemical reaction from the volcano gas. An unexpected beautiful adventure is exploring the rice fields in Ubud. I never imagined rice fields to be something adventurous, but the ones in Indonesia are unique and gorgeous. Indonesia happens to be the third largest country that produces rice globally, so you will have no problem finding a rice field to tour!
